My long party Week

Thursday - Sexual Selection @ StuZ2
What could be better to start a nice Party week than a good old fashioned Student-party? As usual nothing special but the people are always nice, and I met many of my friends, and hasbeen friends.
Friday - Get Refreshed @ StuZ2
I was really disappointed about this party: nobody showed up and the DJ would play only some subgenre of Hiphop which I can’t stand at all. We were lucky however because on that exact evening there was a Rave-Party at the train station, so we bought two bottles of wine and had our fun.
Saturday - Xymox @ Dynamo
Best party ever! I met with up with DJ Irmingott and Cynthia (but that’s a whole other story, and I don’t think she remembers me at all). The people were just great and I really enjoyed dancing too.
Sunday - Nach(t)brand @ Dynamo
Well ok I have to admit that this wasn’t the uberparty, we were just about 10 people but it was really nice to chat a bit and listen to music, without the urge to dance ^^ It’s a Gothic bar that opens once a week.
Tuesday - Weltmeisterschafft 2006 Switzerland vs. France @ StuZ2
Who could survive these days without mentioning soccer? Well it was the first game for switzerland, and I was invited to join my fellow students for a good game. Switzerland can be proud to have played 0:0 against last times finalist.
Wednesday - More than Mode @ X-Tra
Nothing new here, I always go to the More Than Mode on Wednesday, because its a nice event and I like to meet people there, but this time I couldn’t believe who I met: DJ Irmingott and all the other people from Basel (Cynthia, Meinrad, …), it’s the first time ever I meet them there
Thursday - Viskas @ Katzensee
It’s party by the sea
Friday - Visuals from Hell @ Dynamo
This was the biggest disappointment of all the week: some crappy music and the VJ that displays videos of people getting an autopsy, definitely sick, and I went after seeing this shit.
Evening was nice though because I went to the Kontiki Bar and had a couple of beers, really great place that bar ^^
Saturday - Red @ Club Q
What to say? We can’t always be alternative and we decided it would be nice to see what mainstream looks like. It was a huge party, many people, at my advice just cheap showoffs, and I have to say that I didn’t dislike the music. But it’s a bit expensive (35 Swiss Francs entry and 17 Francs a drink…) so I won’t go too often, but it’s certainly a nice experience :p

Never had that much fun at a grill evening: free entry, free steaks, free drinks, free everthing ^^
It was really late when I finally went home, and I lost myself several times because it’s a bit off my usual tracks. Some people were cleverer than me and brought a tend with them.
Anyway I really enjoyed this evening and next year I will certainly go again!
