How stupid am I supposed to be?
Seriously, how stupid do you think people are? I got this email today and I couldn’t resist to write a little rant about it here:
You have received an invitation from Tom Mazzulla to join an exclusive beta test for a new web entertainment project that is preparing to launch across North America: Moola.com.
Note from Sender:
Note From Moola:
Imagine getting your own shot in the hot seat of a super-jackpot game show, and being able to play anytime, for free, to try to win the kind of money you’ve only seen others win on television. That is Moola: Seriously rewarding, very exciting, and completely free to play (this project is supported entirely by advertisers).
Don’t miss out on your opportunity to win millions in the web’s first AdverTournament!
Dear Tom Mazzulla, whoever you are, I personally consider this spam, as it was sent unsolicitedly, from a person I don’t know. It is a really bad practice to write invitations for some phony new Services, even worse with the promise that you can “win huge amounts of money” and it won’t do any good for your service to do so, except maybe a lot of negative press from bloggers and other annoyed addressees of your “Invitation”…
Anyone else got one of these?

Just so your aware, I’m a member of this site you refer to as a “phony new service”. It is actually a very well run site with the chance of making a ton of money for free (time is your only investment). Sorry that someone has send you an unsolicited invite, many people have been doing that lately.
If you would like more info on the site or have any questions on it, please don’t hesitate to seek me out. If you would like an invite to check it out, let me know. I only say this since the link you have gotten may not even be a valid one.

Anyway I took a look at the game and it’s pretty interesting, except you don’t offer it in Europe (yet…).

Yes, you are correct in that it’s not fully available in Europe as of yet. But, you still are able to join and collect $$. You just don’t have the ability to cash out. As an interesting piece of info…. the largest account holder on Moola is actually from Europe.
Please let me know if you need/want any more info on the site.
