		<description>VMWare works great as long as you just want to sync your iPhone, but don&#039;t ever try to upgrade the firmware as you&#039;d have to kick it out of upgrade-mode without even coming close to getting the upgrade done :-(</description>

i will buy for christmas an iphone 3g but i only use Linux (Uuntu 8.04) i have also vmware workstation v6.5.1, do you try to sync your phone on this version of vmware ? I read somewhere that it could be possible, I hope so.
