OdioGo

I just found out about a great service called OdioGo.

Now “Odio” in italian means “hate”, but the exact opposite is my case: I absolutely love the service. It takes your Blog RSS Feed and translates it into Spoken audio content, that the users can then listen to.

The quality is amazing for a TTS (Text-to-Speech) Engine, and it is really pleasant to listen to it while doing other stuff :-)

Sadly I’ve not yet seen many blogs using it, so get out and spread the word.

This seems really cool! You could use this to offer blog posts and podcasts at the same time.

Well, a good podcast sounds a bit better, but it’s definitely a good way to gain reader (listeners) like me that are too lazy to actually read through long posts.

That’s a pretty cool plugin and one I have installed for testing purposes. One criticism though – I have the Digital Fingerprint plugin installed and it reads the fingerprint as part of the post.

    However, that’s a small issue.
