Megavideo still not working

Apparently I’m not the only one complaining about MegaVideo.
I’m starting to get huge amounts of traffic from search engines, suggesting that others are experiencing those issues too.
I’m pretty disappointed in their deceiving marketing strategies, promising high rewards, but then not tracking them (wether intentionally or not).

Is MegaVideo broken or what?

Some days ago I started uploading some of my videos to MegaVideo, but I’m starting to be really annoyed. They offer great rewards for impressions but to apply for them you have to be a premium member yourself, which is quite expensive. The system is really broken as most of my video don’t even appear in my profile, which should be the easiest thing to do. What really annoys me is that my videos don’t even show up when searching for them, it’s not like all the other videos are pushing mine down in the list, I just get empty results. Also they have a policy that only premium members may view more than 72 minutes, which may work for file hosting, but for video it’s a major turn off. So take my advice and never watch a megavideo video.

I just tried to sign up to Google AdSense but was unable to do so:

Google Adsense

Does this mean that if I don’t have an american contact address I’ll be unable to sign up or what? I’m pretty fed up with Google behavior!

Yet another OpenID Provider (WordPress)

I was pretty excited earlier today, when I read that WordPress.com would start providing their users with OpenIDs, but most importantly accept OpenID as an authentication method, becoming a Consumer. Sadly the news where wrong… Wordpress is just another OpenID Provider but they won’t accept OpenID as authentication mechanism. This significantly reduces the importance of this news: we have enough OpenID Providers, what we need are consumers. By now everybody, yes really everybody, has about 2 OpenID Identities, but besides blogs there are very few places we can use.

It is easy for sites to provide their users with OpenID, but accepting them is a major barrier…

Sorry to spoil it for you, but I’m can’t be bothered with yet another Provider.
